Riki Stool, Low
Designed in 1965 by Riki Watanabe, the Riki stool is a flat packed, easy to assemble stool made from recyclable cardboard.
Strong enough to use as a chair, but also light enough for children to play with, the Riki stool can be assembled easily and then folded away compactly. The clever interlocking design creates a very strong load-bearing stool, the Low stool can withstand 740kg while the High stool can withstand 650kg in a vertical load test.
